This month, the family took a trip to Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. Since we didn’t want to pack a lunch, we decided to eat in Estes–bad mistake. Frickin’ Subway is out of hand with the “tourist” prices. We spent $23 for three sandwiches. Eat fresh, my ass. Their slogan ought to be, “Rip you off fast!” $9.50 for a foot long should be illegal. On August 12, Haley started 5th grade and Brianna started 1st grade. Both are attending the new school in our neighborhood and so far, we like it very much. The school seems to have a pretty good handle on most things, although we are disappointed with the sports program. Other than that, music and P.E. are available and the curriculum appears to be challenging. Liz started her Masters program and I started a new semester at CSU-Global. The classes are a bit tougher than last semester for me, and Liz is doing well in her first class in 11 years. We’re excited to be involved with learning and feel it is a good example for our children. Our business Morgan Family Photography had several customers this month. We were fortunate to take some pictures of a two year old, some senior portraits, and our U6 soccer team photos. People appear to like the results and we enjoy providing the service. Check out our YouTube channel. You can access it from the links on our home page, or directly by browsing to the The Morgan’s YouTube Channel. That about covers August! We hope you enjoy the pictures and drop us a line whenever you can! Until next month…Click here to view pictures. |
